Adam Joseph Korabek, 91, passed away December 10, 2012. A memorial mass in his honor will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 10:30 A.M at Our Lady of Hope, 4675 S Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange Florida. Adam was an avid fisherman, he loved to play golf, travel, bowl, and cared dearly for his family. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a gunner and gunnery instructor on B-17's. Adam was the beloved husband of Eleanor for 62 years. Loving father of Charles (Caren) Korabek, Donna (Russell) Parisi, Karen Korabek, and Ann (Walter) Hintz. Caring grandfather of Thomas (Penny) Parisi, Angela (Robert) Vercruysse, Andrea Parisi (Scott Ruehle), and Crystal Korabek. Great-grandfather of Dominic, Payten, Brodie, and Samantha. Adam also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and is now at peace with his late brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam's name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flager-Port Orange. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
