IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adolf Konrad
Ginter
December 31, 1939 – July 7, 2025
Adolf Ginter passed away on July 7, 2025 in Deland, Florida after a long illness. He was born in Germany on December 31, 1939. At age 15, he moved to Canada where he resided until he moved to the United States in the 1960s. His sense of adventure, education and intellectual ingenuity allowed him the opportunity to travel across the United States putting up various types of communication towers as Project Manager. This is where he met his beloved wife, Marie Winager. They wed on August 10th, 1974.
He resided in Gloversville, New York for nearly 40 years. While there, he worked as an industrial electrician, however, this was not his most meaningful job. His passion was being a leader and supporter of his family. In retirement, he moved to Florida where he obtained his US Citizenship. He had a wide range of interests and many talents. This included building custom furniture, making pasta and ravioli, stonework and gardening, fishing with his family, and various projects that helped make the house a loving home. Anyone who knew Adolf knew that he was the most loving husband and father a family could ask for and the friend you could always rely on.
Adolf is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marie Winager Ginter; daughter, Krista Ginter (husband, Barry); and siblings Frank Ginter (wife, Brigette); Ernst Ginter; Heddwig Helmond; Elfie Kerr (husband, Jerry); several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
