Agnes K. Ivanecky, 78, of Port Orange, passed away on February 16, 2015 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 21, 2015 at The Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, FL with Reverend John Bosco Maison officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Port Orange. A Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday February 20, 2015 at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Agnes was born on October 27, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Michael and Anna Kohan. She retired as a Legal Secretary. In 1987 she moved to this area from Cleveland, OH. She enjoyed shopping. Survivors include her husband, Mas Arakawa of Port Orange; Her Husband's Children, Judy Arakawa, Dennis Arakawa, Susan Yee and Laura Arakawa; Sister, Mary Ann Solomon of Pittsburgh, PA; Four Grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Tyler and Krista Yee; one Great Grandson, Jaden Yee; and Nieces and nephews, Cathy Solomon, Laura (Brian ) Eckenrode, Norman (Terri) Solomon and Monica Soloman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Kohan. Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to The Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL 32129.
