Alberta Lois Ronan passed away at Community Hospice-Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, Florida on June 10, 2023 after a short illness. She had been a resident of Palm Coast, Florida for the past 30 years and leaves a son, Brian, two grandsons, Kyle and Edward, and three great grandchildren. She was born in Rockville, Connecticut on May 6, 1926, the daughter of Frank and Louise Irmischer.

Alberta, after graduation from high school attended the University of Connecticut for a brief period before enrolling at Morse Business College. After graduation was employed at the Veterans Administration in Hartford, Connecticut as a stenographer in the Adjudication Department. In addition to taking care of correspondence for several attorneys was responsible for recording verbatim the minutes of hearings of veterans claiming disability. Was later promoted to the position of Adjudication Clerk. In 1946 was married and left the Veterans Administration in 1949 because of pregnancy.

The next period of employment was at the Veterans Administration in New Orleans as secretary to the Chief of the Loan Guaranty Department. Left this employment at the Veterans Administration sometime around 1955 because of a family move.

In 1970 went to work at Blonder Tongue Laboratories in Old Bridge, New Jersey as secretary to the Chief Engineer. Subsequently, became his Administrative Assistant. At completion of this assignment, she worked for the President of the company as a statistician, then was promoted to position of Production scheduler,

She later became a realtor and worked for Showcase of Homes in South River, New Jersey, then moved to Weichert Realtors. She earned her Brokers license around 1984. She retired from real estate in 1989 and moved to Palm Cast, Florida.
