Alfred V Rivers, Jr.

Al was born in Hartford, Ct., His family moved to Fl. when he was 9-10
yrs old. He had been a resident of Daytona Beach area since.
Al attended both Mainland Jr., & Sr., High Schools. After High School
he went into the U.S.Army from 1969 to 1971. During his Army
enlistment, he was sent to Viet Nam where he was exposed to Agent
Orange and developed illnesses associated from that exposure. He will
be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL on
Nov 18th, 2021 @ 2PM.
Al married in 1970 to his wife, Clarisse (Criss) for 51 years. They had
their daughter, April Lee in 1970. He was known to his family and
friends as "Butch" or Al. He worked for the City of Ormond Beach till his
retirement in 1996. He loved motorcycle riding and Rock music.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his wife, daughter,
granddaughter and great granddaughter as well as his mother, sister,
niece and great nephew along with a host of other family and friends.
We all loved & will miss him greatly.
