Alice Marie Nassif, 90, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2014 with family by her side. Alice was born on December 12, 1923 and resided in Capitol Heights, MD until her retirement, after a 32 year career at the FDIC, when she retired to Florida. Alice loved spending time at the beach and her family was the most important aspect of her life. Alice is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Callie Nassif; sister, Annie Clemen; and brother, Joe Rooney. Those left to cherish Alice's memory are her wonderful daughter, Rose Mary Schmitt and her husband Chris; brother, John Rooney; niece, Marie Clark and her husband Bill; nephew, John Clemen and his wife Donna; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephew. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to be sent to the Halifax Health Hospice, 1688 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 12:00 P.M at Daytona Memorial Park.
