Angela "Angie" Merrifield, 97, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2014. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M at Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St, Port Orange, FL. Angie was an avid bingo player; she frequently played at Church of the Epiphany. She also enjoyed fishing at the Port Orange pier, reading, and gardening. Angie loved to socialize with her friends, neighbors, and bingo companions, but above all she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Angie is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Darrell Merrifield; brothers, Rudolph Kovacs and Albert Kovach; sisters, Margaret Fruscella, Barbara Swanda, and Irene Roncalli. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary (Gary) Cannady; brother, Edward Kovacs; grandchildren, Christopher, Robin, and David Cannady; great-grandchild, Garrett Hager.
