Anthony "Tony" Bruno, 93, of Ponce Inlet passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Port Orange, FL. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday February 19, 2015 in the Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM til the Service begins at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home on Thursday. Tony was born on September 20, 1921 in Trenton, NJ to the late Anthony and Catherine Bruno. He was a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from Rider University in Trenton, NJ. Tony retired after 42 years as a Wage and Hour Law Enforcement Specialist for the Department of Labor, first in Trenton, NJ and then in Washington DC. In 1998 he moved to this area from Arlington, VA. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus in Arlington, VA. He was also a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange. He enjoyed home improvement projects. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Rosemarie; Son, Anthony III (Theresa) of Colorado Springs, CO; Daughter, Amy Legare of Alexandria, VA; Five Grandchildren, Chuck Legare, Benjamin Legare, Marissa Bruno, Gabriella Bruno and Alicia Bruno.
