Obituary
Barbara was born August 8, 26, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Henry G and Dorothy (Moody) Lingeman. Barbara attended school in Poland, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University. She married Wayne G Orrender, Jr. on October 2, 1984 in their backyard in South Daytona. Barbara retired from First Union Bank after 40 years in banking and she volunteered for 13 years with Halifax Hospital as well with the South Daytona Police Department for many years. She loved her family and husband of 34 years and manged to touch the hearts of all she came in contact with. She loved the ocean, collecting sea shells and refrigerator magnets. Most of all she loved taking cruises that is as long as there was a slot machine on board!
In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by her five children; Michael Kempher (Lori) of Findlay, OH, Bill Orrender of Van Buren, AR, Cindy Kempher of Dayton, OH, Tina Stern of Aylett, VA and Shiena DeCenso of Wildwood, Fl. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Jennifer (Matt) Findley, Bridgette (Kevin) Folsom, Chase Kempher, Mathew Orrender, Olivia Kempher, Samantha Smith and Alex Orrender; four great-grandchildren, Owen Folsom Addie Folsom, Elizabeth and Maddie Findley.
The family will receive friends Thursday March 1, 2018 at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 301 Big Tree Rd., South Daytona from 2:00-3:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart Of Volusia Inc, PO Box 3, Daytona Beach, Fl 32115 or to a charity of your choice. On line condolences may be left at cardwellfuneral.com
