Bernard White, 87, Port Orange, died January 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. White was born in Detroit, MI, and came to this area in 1989. He graduated from The University of Michigan in 1953 as an electrical engineer. He worked with Ford Motor Company and retired in 1987. He was also an Air Force Reserve 2nd LT and a member of The Smyrna Yacht Club.

He lived a life that was full, he traveled each and every highway, and more, much more than that, he did it his way.

Survivors include three daughters, Denise Werkheiser and husband, Bob, of Downington, PA. Victoria Higgs of Port Orange, and Laurie White of McRae, GA. 4 grandchildren, Ryne, Stacy, Rob, and Eric. 6 nieces and 3 nephews. His wife of 51 years, Patricia Anne White of Dearborn, MI passed away in 2005.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home in South Daytona. Gathering of family and friends for fellowship will take place at 10 A.M at the same location In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity..
