IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beth D
Mims
March 17, 1964 – August 8, 2018
Beth D. Mims passed into the arms of Jesus on August 8, 2018. She was born on March 17, 1964 in Panama City, FL. Beth was the Ministry Assistant for the Halifax Baptist Association, and the wife of Dr. Charles Mims, Worship Pastor at First Baptist South Daytona. She was a kind, compassionate woman who demonstrated her love for others every day. Having lived and served in the Daytona Beach area for 23 years she made quite an impact on her community. Outside of her family she had two great passions, a love of anything Disney and music. She sang soprano in the Good News Choir of FBCSD and drove everybody crazy singing in the car. Singing with her in the heavenly choir will be her daughter, Samantha who passed in 2015, her father Charles McSwiney, her step father Ken Wilson, her brother Chuck McSwiney, and her grandmother Rose. She leaves behind a large family that includes her husband, Charles, and her daughter Brianna, both of South Daytona. Her mother Barbara Wilson of Panama City, FL and her grandmother Dorothy McSwiney of Panama City, FL, as well as her brother Steve Wilson (Angela) of Richmond Hills, GA., and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who loved her very much.
A memorial service will be held Saturday August 11, 2018 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church South Daytona, 2197 Kenilworth Ave . Visitation with the family will occur prior to that at 10 AM. Rev. Ronnie Barton will be officiating, along with Rev. Glenn Jones, Rev. John Marsh, Rev. Chet Thomas, And Rev.
