Billie Sue Dorfner, 82, passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 10, 2014. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 11:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange FL 32129. A graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Port Orange following the visitation. She was born on December 8, 1931 in Lenoir City, Tennessee. In 1943 her parents relocated their family from Maryville, Tennessee to Port Orange. Billie was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed watching football, and was an avid listener of Elvis Presley. Above all she adored her large family. Billie is preceded in death by her sons, Mac and Mike Dorfner and grandson Michael Medders. Those left to cherish Billie's memory are her husband, Richard; children, Raymond Dorfner of Waycross Georgia, Jean Dorfner of Daytona Beach and Denise Vanderpool of Daytona Beach; brother, Donnie (Debbie) Huffman of Port Orange; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
