Brent James Begnoche, age 72, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on December 15, 2025. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 14, 1953, to Harley and Lucille Begnoche.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan; his five children—Timothy (Allyn) Begnoche, Dana (Kevin) Carr, & Andrea (Adam) Fox, whom he shared with Elena, and Alex (Allison) Begnoche & Kelly (Brandon) Carling, whom he shared with Susan; his eight grandchildren—Vivian, Corinne, Lewis, Harley, Donovan, Eliza, Beau, and Vaida; his brother, Bruce (Loretta) Begnoche; and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister, Nanette.

After beginning his career as an accountant, Brent went on to co-own and operate a restaurant in Sanford, Michigan, before retiring in Florida. He was an avid golfer and bowler and had a fondness for animals, especially his beloved cat, Cooper. His children and grandchildren brought him great pride.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in Michigan in the summer of 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brent's name to the American Humane Society or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation .
