Calvert "Doc" Clinton Halliday, 83, passed away peacefully at his home yesterday, October 8, 2014. He was born in East Orange, New Jersey on September 5, 1931 to George Mary Halliday. "Doc" lived in Volusia County since 1972. He is survived by Constance "Connie" M. Halliday his wife of 57 years, sons: Scott (Missy) of Jacksonville, Steve (Alicia) of Clermont, Doug of Holly Hill; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. "Doc" loved to fish, but most of all hanging out with his friends and family at his favorite watering hole. A small "Celebration of Life" will be held at "The Chance" in Holly Hill, Florida on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2 pm to 4 pm. He will be greatly missed by all as we cherish our memories.
