Candace Diane Park, 67, of Port Orange, Florida passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 24, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. She worked as a operating room nurse helping prepare for surgeries for over 40 years in Columbus, Ohio. When she moved to Florida six years ago, she was still a caretaker, but for another vulnerable group. She became a cat rescuer doing “TNR” or Trap, Neuter, and Return in the greater Daytona Beach community. She was the most selfless person you could ever meet.

Candace is survived by her brother, Ray Park; extended family, many human friends, and even more feline friends.

Services will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cardwell, Baggett, & Summers Funeral Home, Edgewater, Florida.
