Wayne Wadley of Daytona Beach, FL (formerly Paducah, KY) died at 4:16pm on Tuesday, 12.04.18 at the Halifax Hospital in Dayton Beach, FL    He served in the United States Army as a young man.  He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast making numerous trips including but not limited to  Key West, a 3&1/2 week trip to see the Grand Canyon & visiting the resting place of Wyatt Earp in Tombstone, & a coast-to-coast ride from Daytona Beach to San Francisco with his wife, family & friends.  He also took an 18-day trip on his brother's boat he named "The Round-the-River" boat trip including the Tennessee River, Tombigbee River & the Mississippi River. He loved being behind in the wheel-house looking out into the beautiful waters, behind his motorcycle bars with the wind in his face, or just out visiting in his leather vest. He started as a deckhand on the river in 1965, went into the wheelhouse in April 1971, officially retired from AEP in 2010, & ended his river career after tripping in 2015.  During these 50 years on the water, he worked for several wonderful companies & made several friends he calls family. He was a gentle giant & knew how to aggravate you until you smiled ~ His heart was big as he went above & beyond for his family/friends, never allowing others to know what he was doing. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carol Wadley.  Six children; Wayne Wadley, Shane Wadley, Lee (Linda) Wadley all of Paducah, KY, Brittney (Ray) Miller, James (Jessica) Feigel, Danyale White all of Daytona Beach, Fl.  His sister, Reta (Bill) Houser of Paducah, KY, 2 brothers; Gary Wadley, from Cairnes, Queensland, Australia & Tommy D.
