Carmela C. Briguglio, 88, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.  She was born on November 13, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Anthony and Rose (nee, Valentino) Cantone.  She moved to the Port Orange area in 1977 from Brooklyn, NY.  Retired from AT&T after several years.  She loved cooking, reading and writing.

She is survived by her son, John (Toni) Briguglio; daughter, Paula (Bruce) Glaiser of Staten Island, NY;  three grandchildren, Andrea Glasier, Bethany Briguglio and Gina Briguglio;  and one great grandchild, Jaden Savino.
