Carol Brentson, 70, of Port Orange entered into Eternal Rest Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her residence. Carol was born on July 14, 1941 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of the late James William and Lillian (Dawson) McClune. She was united in marriage to Robert S. Brentson on November 27, 1964 in Miami, Florida. They were happily united as one for 47 years. Carol is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Cherie Johnson (Mark Neal and daughter Charla), of Fort Walton Beach; sister, June Eileen Fox, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother in law, Richard Brentson, of Miami, Fl. as well as numerous, loving nieces and nephews. As per Carol's wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home.
