A Gathering celebrating the life of Christopher Johnson will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday September 2, 2015 in the Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with a Vigil Service being held at 6:00 PM. Christopher R. Johnson was born on December 14, 1972 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Lexington, VA, to two excited parents, Dr. James R. Johnson and Susan F. Johnson. During his life of 42 years, Chris loved to fish, bicycle, work on cars, and create new entrees for guests to try. He was a good writer and he loved to talk to his dad about cars and world events. Chris will be remembered by his five remaining aunts and four uncles, numerous relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank Halifax Health Hospice for their attentive care and those friends who came to see him there.
