Darrow (D.A.) Hartness , entrepreneur and business owner, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at home in Ormond Beach, Florida.

D.A. was born in 1934 in Blue Ridge, Texas; just north of Dallas.  He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and then returned home to begin his business career in several states.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Hartness, daughters: Pam Dwyer (Dan), Eileen Gipson (Bryan), Kathleen Woods (Dan), and Sue Elliott (Thomas Fredericksen).  In addition, fifteen grandchildren and many great grand and great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at a future date.
