David Alan Norman, 73, of Holly Hill passed away on Monday, January 6th at home surrounded by his family. David was born on August 4, 1952, in Daytona Beach, FL to Howard and Janice (Burnett) Norman. David honorably served his country in the U.S. Army until 1975, dedicating years of his life to serving his country before embarking on a skilled career as a Carpenter and Mason. Many considered David a Jack-of-all-Trades. David found joy and relaxation in hunting, fishing and playing billiards and darts. David was proud to be a member of the VFW, American Legion and American Rifle Association. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30 years Alice (Bixby) Norman. He is survived by his four sisters, Barbara Christy (Dan), Shirley Anderson, Janet Quiney, Diane Barneski (Rick). His cousin, who was more his brother, Earl Norman (Jane). His three stepdaughters, Clarissa Murry (Dave), Tammy Schrader (Paul), and Bonnie Fisher (Aaron). As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and several close friends. David will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him but leaves behind many to keep his memory alive.
