Dawn Newell Fleming, 93, of Port Orange FL, passed away
Thursday, June 17, under the care of her family and VITAS Hospice
of Daytona Beach.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Gouverneur, NY, to Douglas R. and
Sadie G. (Weaver) Bartholomew. She graduated from Philadelphia
High School and Watertown School of Commerce. Dawn was a
secretary at Wilna Motors in Watertown and Frink Snow Plows in
Clayton, until devoting her life to her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of nearly 74 years,
Donald; daughter Cynthia (William) Morrissey of Port Orange FL,
brother Craig (Elizabeth) Bartholomew of Port Orange FL,
grandsons Benjamin (Meriah) McDonald of Port Leyden NY and
Gregory (Brianne) McDonald of Rush NY; great-grandchildren
Brytanie, DeSaun, and Makhenzie; four great-great grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or
