Debra (Debbie) Jean Haller Gillis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Gillis, 66, who died peacefully at her home in Port Orange, Florida, on Monday, July 1st, after a courageous battle with illness. Debbie was a woman who found wonder in the simple joys of life, from puzzles and bingo to her love for animals. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her four sons.

Debbie's home was filled with love and laughter, and the highlight of her year was always the family gathering on Christmas Eve. She passed down her love of the holiday season and family to her boys, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Debbie is preceded in passing by her mother Joyce, sister Priscilla, brother Jerry, and son Brian. She is survived by her sons Bobby, Dusty, and Danny, granddaughter Bella, daughter-in-law Debbie, boyfriend Mike, and a large, loving extended family of both biology and the heart. Debbie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
