Dennis Smith, 72, of Port Orange, passed away on April 27, 2015 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Port Orange. He was born on December 10, 1942 in Queens, NY to the late Ed and Mildred Smith. A Celebration of Dennis's Life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday May 2, 2015 in The Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Among those who will miss him the most are his sisters, Jane and Edna and his brother, Harold. He was an avid baseball fan. Every home game he could be found in seat A10 at Jackie Robinson Stadium for the last fifty years. He always wore something to display his love of the military and in honor of his brother, Arthur, who died in Vietnam.
