Donald L. Miller, 79, retired principal owner of D. L Miller & Sons Company and Miller Construction, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015 at his Daytona Beach home, relieved of lung disease. His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Grove City, 4501 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH 43123. A carpenter by trade, Don entered the construction industry at a young age under the leadership of his father, then in partnership with his brothers, and lastly in concert with his sons. A respected businessman, accomplished fisherman and avid Buckeye fan, he divided his time upon retirement between Lake Erie of Ohio and Florida. A man of principle, conviction and determination who was extremely proud of his family, Don will be long remembered for his loyalty to others and his charming wit. Don is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Donna (nee Cruikshank); children Tina (Robert) DeMatteo, Teri Price (Rick Ey), Donald (Diana) Miller, Tammy (Tom) Manley, and Daniel (Michele) Miller; sister Joan (Harry) Hagemann; sister-in-law Carol Miller; brother-in-law Dick Wilson; grandchildren Adam Arthurs, Destiny and Donny Miller, Sean and Seth Manley, Daniel Miller and Conrad Company; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many devoted friends. Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Christina Miller, brothers Jack and Robert Miller, sister Martha and brother-in-law Harold Callahan, sister June Wilson, and grandson Justin Arthurs.
