Donna L. Wagnon, 51, went to be with Our Lord on Friday, September 18, 2015 surrounded by loving family and friends after her two and a half year battle with ovarian cancer. Donna was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on June 20, 1964 to Alan and Mary Jenkins. She graduated from Cox High School in 1982. After moving to Florida, she proudly served the City of Key West as a police officer for nine years. It was in Key West where she met the love of her life, Roger. They were wed on June 18, 1995 in her hometown of Virginia Beach. They relocated and Donna served the citizens of Port Orange for ten years as an officer. After retiring from the Port Orange Police Department, she decided to work on her other adoration and opened Donna's Pet Sitting Service. She took care of many "fur-babies" in our community. She and Roger loved animals and they rescued many dogs throughout the years. Donna had a passion for life and touched many lives during her time on earth. Those left to cherish Donna's memory are her husband and best friend, Roger Wagnon; her sisters, Patti Newton and Kathie Midgette; and her two fur-children, Gunny and Maggie. She is preceded in death by both her parents. She will always be remembered for her strength and her amazing spirit.
