Doris Richards Puckett, 87, of Daytona Beach went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 17, 2017.

Doris was born in Cassville, Bartow County, Georgia where she met her husband, Charles Puckett. While in Georgia, Doris worked as a secretary for Union Carbide. In 1969 Doris and Charles moved to Daytona Beach, FL where they bought a gift shop, Florida Shells & Curios. They joined First Baptist Church where Doris was a faithful servant who loved missions almost as much as her family.

Mrs. Puckett was the widow of the late Charles L. Puckett and is survived by her daughter and son in law, Mona and John Campbell, her son and daughter in law, Stanley and Karen Puckett, her son and daughter in law Michael and Michelle Puckett and her daughter and son in law, Janet and Bob Chilton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Charles, Marshall, Jordan and David Puckett, Autum Knapp, Amy Wagner and Kimberly Sasser and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, 733 W. Granada Blvd., from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the viewing, a funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am by the Reverend Paul Dillow. Burial will follow at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach.
