IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy L.
Moore
February 3, 1937 – February 5, 2026
Dorothy L. Moore, affectionately known as Dot, passed away peacefully on February 5,
2026, two days after her 89th birthday. She was born and passed in the Daytona Beach area.
She spoke proudly of her graduation from Mainland High School, her clerkship at S.H. Kress
and Company and especially her 27 years at GE. After she retired from GE she was able to
pick up her passion in archaeology and soar. She was a Lifetime Level Member of the New
Smyrna Beach Museum of History, another passion of hers.
Her final days were lovingly cared for by the compassionate staff of Reflections in Port
Orange and Vitas Hospice.
She is survived by her children Sharon Denise Baltzegar and F. Allan (Bonnie) Moore.
Grandchildren: Kristen (Elliott) Parrish, Stephanie (Andrew) Price, Amanda (Jason) Roberts,
Zachary (Amber) Moore.
Her extended Grandchildren: JD (Tanya) Wolfe, Abby Burgos and her 6 Great Grandchildren:
Davie, Emmaline, Tre', Taylor, Brie, Zach Jr.
Siblings: Paul Haley and Ruth Defriese.
She had so many longtime friends and had a great love for her family and community, she
will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
