Dororthy Virginia Mayo Quartier, 87, passed away on Sunday September 20, 2015 at her home in Greer S.C. Born in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Taylor and Walter Leon Taylor. She enjoyed Square dancing, the Braves and camping. She is survived by son Steve Newby of Pt. Orange, daughter Judy Bailey of Greer, S.C., daughter-in-law Deanna Newby of Pt. Orange, 3 step son , David Doug and Danny ,Step Daughter Deborah Jenkins , seven grandchildren, Bobby, Vicki, Angela, Josh, Andrew, John and Bill and 13 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Quartier, son Scott Newby, and brother Leon Taylor and son in law Bob More. The funeral service will be held Monday September 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at Cardwell Baggett and Summers Funeral home, Port Orange. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park at 11:00.
