Douglas Patrick Doughty of Port Orange, Florida passed away peacefully on August 8, 2023 at hospice in Port Orange.  Doug was born at Halifax in Daytona Beach, Florida to Jean and Brad Doughty on September21, 1961.  He graduated from Warner Christian Academy in 1979, and went on to receive a Associates degree from Daytona Community College.  Doug has a big heart and made friends easily and those friends lasted a life time.

Doug is proceded in death by his grandparents Ruby and Hopson Benton,  Katerine and Arthur Doughty and his dad  Brad  Doughty.  He is survived by his mother Jean Doughty of Port Orange, brother Jeffrey Doughty of South Daytona, A nephew, niece, cousins, great nephews and nieces, and many friends that considered Doug part of their famiy as well as them part of his.

A public memorial service will be held at 1pm on August 15,2023 at the Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 301 Big Tree Rd. South Daytona.  Memorial contributions may be made to the ST. Judes Hospital in memory of Douglas Patrick Doughty to help with Cancer Research.
