Edith Elizabeth Van Fleet Voznick, 89, of Port Orange, passed away on January 2, 2015 at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 10, 1925 in Binghamton, NY to the late Alvin and Winifred Van Fleet. She graduated from Mt. Upton High School where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. She was raised on a farm in upstate New York before moving to this area in the 1950's. She retired from RCA in West Palm Beach, FL and enjoyed many more years of employment with her friends at Fleuchaus, Gaines and Akers before retiring again at age 75. She enjoyed gardening, reading, baseball, NASCAR, her cats and she was an avid animal lover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley P. Voznick, whom she married on November 10, 1951. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her only child, her devoted daughter, Kathy Tracy of Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren, Michelle (Scott) Stevens and Dominique Carlson; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by her big brother and sister, Bill Van Fleet and Mildred Buckley. In celebration of her life there will be a graveside service at 12:00PM on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
