Edna J. Schumann, 84, of South Daytona, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Harbor Oaks Nursing & Rehab Facility. A Celebration of her life will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Edna was born on August 23, 1930 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Hoyt and Virginia John. She moved to this area with her husband in 1953 from Virginia. Edna retired from Publix Supermarkets (Big Tree Road, South Daytona) after over 20 years of service. She was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America Volusia Region AACA. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Donna) Schumann of New Smyrna Beach and Robert Schumann of Harbor Oaks; two grandchildren, Michael Schumann, Jr. of South Daytona and Teresa Regensburger of Madison, AL; two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Blake Regensburger, both of Madison, AL; and a nephew, John Schumann III of Port Orange. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edgar B. Schumann. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
