Elizabeth (Betty) Carter passed away at her home Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by husbands, Arnold Ford and Walter Carter. She is survived by her loving companion of 27 years, Michael Manko and her three daughters, Linda Mason of Crown Point, Indiana, Pamela Reeder of Livonia Michigan and Laura Ford of Nashville, Tennessee, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M at Cardwell Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, Florida. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Private interment at St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
