ORMOND BEACH, FL- Elizabeth "Betty" Magdiazrz, 91 of 126 Cone Road died peacefully at Halifax Hospice- Port Orange on Friday, December 23, 2022.  She retired after over 30 years in Central Supply at Halifax Hospital.

After growing up in Hammond, Indiana, Betty, her late husband and youngest moved to the area in 1976, where he worked at the Daytona News Journal, and she spent the first few years working front desk at a few hotels for George Anderson before she began her career at Halifax.

She was a spicy firecracker and blessed matriarch of the family.  Her survivors include her four children, two grandsons and seven great-grandchildren; Suzie, Tim (Kellie) and Haillie, Nancy (Jim) and their son Jason (Karlyca) with their daughters, Sage and Gianna, Patty (John) and son Curtis (Deanna) with their children Taylor, Austin, Luci, Peyton and Curtis Jr.
