Ellen Lucille Hudspeth, age 93, of South Daytona, formerly of Mount Holly, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin in the Chapel at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Ronnie Barton of First Baptist Church of South Daytona Officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Holly, North Carolina on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. She is survived by her loving nephew, Stephen (Jolene) Godfrey, of Port Orange; great nephew, Nick Godfrey; brother in law, Bill Hudspeth; sister in law, Colleen Hunt. Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; husband Woodrow Hudspeth, and son Stevie Hudspeth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South Daytona Baptist Church.
