A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Emma Louise Zawila at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129. Emma Zawila, 89, of Port Orange, passed away peacefully with her daughter, Denise Zawila, by her side on Friday July 9, 2015 at her residence. Emma was born on April 17, 1926 in Wyoming, PA to the late John and Amelia Falconi. She devoted her life to taking care of her husband and her family. She was a wonderful woman who loved to play tennis, golf, cook and sew. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, the Ladies Lions Club, the Bridge Club in Pelican Bay, Foxhill Country Club (PA), Tennis Club (PA), and she was a volunteer at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital (PA). She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Zawila of Port Orange, FL and Jeannine Black of Tampa, FL; and two grandchildren, Allison and Teddy Black. Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ted Zawila, who passed away on July 15, 2008. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32127 or to a charity of one's choice.
