Emmitt Wayne Salyers, 63, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 10, 2015. He was a native of Coeburn, VA but lived most of his life in the Gaithersburg, MD area before retiring to Daytona Beach, FL. He was the son of the late Emmitt and Edna Lawson Salyers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Shawn Dykes and a sister Sue Lawson. He is survived by his wife Linda Salyers of Daytona Beach, FL. Sons Bart Dykes (Ana) of Olney, MD and Shannon Dykes of Daytona Beach, FL. Brother David Salyers (Rosa) of Bristol, VA. Grandchildren Tyler, Conni, Abigail, Connor, Cory, Mason, and Madison Dykes. Services will be held at Church Of The Redeemer, 19425 Woodfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
