Fred "Ron" Heard (Pops) , 65, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 10, 1949. He was a Tile Mechanic for Halifax Tile and Searay Tile. Survived in death by his wife of 45 years, Donna Heard: his sons, Tim Heard (Tara) and Tony Heard; mother, Bea Coe; sisters: Peggy Dill (Larry), Patricia Lewis, Wendy Dooley (Jim) all of Volusia County along with other siblings in Tennessee, Orville Heard Jr., Mae Heard, Jerry Hire. 3 grandsons: Tony Jr, Timmy Jr., and Tyler; along with Brother inlaws and sister inlaws, many nephew's and niece's. He enjoyed racing and fishing every chance he was free. Ron will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Preceded in death by his Father, Orville Heard, Sr., Step Father, John Coe, Brother in law, David Hudson and his beloved dog, Runt. A "Celebration of Life" will be on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Tomoka Christian Church, 1450 Hand Avenue, Ormond Beach with a fellowship time by sharing of food and remembrance. Flowers and donations may be sent to the church on behalf of the family.
