Frederick ("Rick") C. Anderau, also known as Captain Rick, went to the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2024, after a short but valiant fight with AML (Acute Myleoid Leukemia).  He was born in New York, New York on March 8, 1951, the oldest of four sons, to the late Frederick and Vivian (nee Mule) Anderau.

Rick is survived by his wife, Joanne (nee Zdzinicki), his daughter Storm (husband Tom), grandchildren Ryan, Jacob, Casey and Andrew, brothers Russ (wife Suzy), Ron and Rob (wife Cat).

Rick served in the US Air Force (1970-1974) and was a Merchant Marine Captain for 28 years.  He was a certified diver for both business and pleasure.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at The Daytona Beach Boat Club located at 419 Basin Street, Daytona Beach, FL  32114.
