George R. Flint, 88, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope, 4675 S Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129 followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery. George was born in New York, New York in 1926. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII. He was an entrepreneur and owned two electronics stores in New York. George was also a dedicated member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. George is preceded in death by his late wife of 43 years, Lena Flint. Those left to cherish George's memory are his wife of 14 years, Eileen; children, Joanne (Larry) Wallace, Louise (Mark) Cestaro, Robert (Robin) Flint; step-children, Lisa (Leonard) Carroll, Teri (Dan) Hill; grandchildren, Ryan, Melinda, Nicholas, Joanne, Amanda, Anthony; step-grandchildren, Lindsay, and Dillon.
