George H. Scarborough, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 13, 1931 to Henry and Frances Scarborough. He served in the US Navy, was a former Detroit and Midland Michigan Police Officer and retired from Michigan Mutual/ Ameri-Sure in 1995 as a Senior Safety and Loss Control Officer. Predeceased in death :his first wife, the late Patricia Woodard for 28 years, his second wife, Dorothy Troller for 9 years; survivors: his daughter, Shelby Laver (David) of Titusville, Florida, Brothers: Gerald of Fenton MI, Ted of Senatobia, MS., and sister Barbara Cates of Troy, Il. George was a member of Eustis Elks 1578, Moose-American Legion Tail Hook Association, Former Member Pine Meadows Country Club and Mt. Dora Golf Club.
