Grace Ann Connifey of Daytona Beach Florida, formerly of Vienna, Virginia passed away quietly in her sleep Thursday morning, January 23, 2020. She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to Andrew and Teresa Carroll McLane on July 28, 1926. One of her favorite hangouts growing up was Martha's Vineyard. In 1950, Grace married John Connifey of Gardner Mass., and raised a family of five boys in Vienna, Va. Grace and John had several tours overseas to Cyprus, Okinawa, and the Philippines. Each place they developed friendships that lasted a lifetime. She spent 23 years with the CIA before retiring in October 1994, and both Grace and John moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1996. She was an avid golfer, a painter, a near gourmet cook, and loved spending time with her beloved bridge group. She was preceded in death by her best friend and sister Mary, who passed away in 2010, her son Timothy who passed away in 1992 and by her husband and her true love John in 2014. Grace is survived by a four sons, Michael and his two boys, Tyler and Cameron, by Kevin, and his wife Kim with their two sons Meghan and Ryan, and his wife Kristin and their daughter, Evelynn, by Robert "Bob"and his wife Vicki, and their two daughters, Alyssa and Kendyl, and Paul. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Sarah. Sadly, Grace never was able to meet her great grand-daughter Evelynn before passing.
