It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gunther Shultz, a beloved member of our community, who left us on Wednesday Aug 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Born in Germany, Gunther was a man who truly lived life to its fullest. His warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter was a beacon to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gunther was a friend to many, always there with a kind word, a helping hand, or a joke to lift the spirits. A proud member of the Elks Lodge as well as Palm Coasts Social Club 51; he had a gift for bringing people together, and there was nothing he enjoyed more than sharing a drink with his friends, whether at the clubs he was a member of, Salsas Mexican Restaurant, or in our homes around the kitchen table. His love for life was evident in every hearty laugh and in every story told over a glass of his favorite beer.

Known for his giving nature, Gunther was always ready to help those in need, never asking for anything in return. His generosity knew no bounds, and he took great joy in seeing others happy and cared for. He was a man who understood the value of friendship, and he nurtured those relationships with sincerity and love.

Though he has left us too soon, Gunther will be remembered for his big heart, his love of good company, and his ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and camaraderie that will be cherished by all who knew him and his memory will live on in the stories and the toasts made by his friends who were in every sense, his family.

We invite you come to raise a glass in celebration of Gunther's life on August 31, 2024 at the Palm Coasts Elk's Lodge located at 53 Old Kings Rd., in Palm Coast Florida from 2:30 – 4:30PM where we will gather to remember the wonderful man he was and to raise a glass in his memory.
