Hannah Nan Root, 91, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born in New York, New York on March 4, 1923 to Max and Yetta Stempel. Survived by her son, Martin Ruglis (Kirsten), grandson: Lucas Ruglis ; granddaugthers: Jessica Ruglis and Emilie Currie (Todd); great-grand sons: Benjamin and Caleb Currie, Brother: Samuel Stempel, many nephews and nieces, step-sons: Richard and Thomas Root. She loved working with her late husband, Thomas F. Root, Sr. assisting him as he was a professional horse trainer. She also loved boating, being a member of the Temple Beth-El, Ormond Beach, community, reading to the children in the local schools, traveling and spending time and going to dinner with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all her dear family and friends. A "Celebration of Life" will be honored at a later date.
