Helyn Reeves, 85, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2014. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home 3571 Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00 A.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home. Helyn loved to shop, cook, and play casino games. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4089 where she was past president and past district president. She belonged to a bowling league in which she participated at Bellair Lanes. Above all she adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Helyn is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Larry Reeves and brother, John Maley. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Carol (John) Steiner, William (Kathy) Erzen, Karla (Al) Dunlap, Ron Erzen, Jon Erzen; sisters, Nina (Les) Hosack, Joan Snyder, Donna Stair; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
