Henry C. Coleman, Jr. "Hank", age 75, of Ormond Beach, Florida, former local Chairman of the Board of SunTrust Bank, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday June 9, 2015 in The Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home ORMOND, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174 A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church, 620 S. Grandview Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32118 with Reverend William Anderson officiating. A Graveside Service will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Born in Daytona Beach, he was a 1957 graduate of Seabreeze High School where he lettered in baseball and basketball. A 1962 graduate of the University of Florida, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Hank continued the Coleman family legacy of community advancement through various roles including former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the then Daytona Beach Community College and was the former President and Director of the then Daytona Committee of 100. He was a long-time member of Oceanside Country Club, Gator Boosters, and Rotary. He served as Captain of the Quarterback Club and was co-founder and charter member of the Halifax Club. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Coleman and her children Coleman Doikos, Stephanie Doikos, Manning Doikos and Caroline Doikos; a sister, Mary Anne Jackson-Trumbull (Bob) and a nephew, Chris Jackson (Donna). Memorial Donations may be made in Hank's memory to Volusia County Gator Club Scholarship, 109 Forest Quest, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
