Janet F. Rothwell died May 9, 2017 in Port Orange Florida. She had been a Connecticut resident most of her life, born April 12, 1926, in Bridgeport, raised in Fairfield, and earned her nursing degree at Beckus Hospital in Norwich. She made her home in Glastonbury for 35 years. She moved to Daytona are in 1995, after vacationing here for 40 years. Janet enjoyed the beach, swimming, golf, bridge, music and reading. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Clifford, in 2003, and her daughter-in-law, Dianna, in 2011. Her survivors include her sons David Rothwell of Daytona Beach, and Glenn Rothwell of Eat Hartford, CT, Glenn's wife Pauline, and their three children Dillon, Courtney, and Meghan. Janet also leaves her sister and "forever friend" Alberta Krampe of Greenwood, IN her nephew Fred "Pete" Krampe of Rockwood, TN, her niece, Janet Grube, of Greenwood, IN and Ocala, FL, and their families. She was a member of Westminster By-The-Sea Presbyterian Church (USA), and a long standing member of Eastern Star in Monroe, CT. A memorial service by the family will be held at the church Friday, May 12, 2017, at 11:00 am. Memorial gifts may be sent to Westminster By-The-Sea Presbyterian Church, 3221 S.
