Jean L. Thompson, 86 of Port Orange went home to be with her beloved husband Charles W. Thompson on December 20, 2012. Jean was born on September 19, 1926 in Malden, Massachusetts to the late Augustino and Laura (Balasco) Budetti. She and her husband moved to Florida in the early eighties from Dearborn Heights, Michigan following her husband's retirement. Jean was a loving mother with a heart of gold. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bingo, shuffleboard, playing pool, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles W. Thompson; parents, Augustino and Laura Budetti; brother, Peter Budetti; daughters, Donna L. Robbins, Diane F. Miracle; and grandson, Anthony Beauchesae. Survivors include her loving daughters, Claire Quebec, of Largo, Florida, Debra A. Thompson, of Port Orange, Florida, and Denise K. Beauchesae, of Woodhaven, Michigan. Jean also leaves behind many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home.
