Joanne Podschelne Bacom 60 of Port Orange passed away Sunday November 5, 2023. After a courageous and hard-fought battle with Breast Cancer. She was born, May 19, 1963, in Gloversville, NY.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Steven R Bacom Jr. and their daughter Felicia Bacom. Joanne is also survived by sisters: Susan Briggs, Mary Podschelne, Nancy Blackwell, Annemarie Podschelne, Georganna Podschelne. Brothers: Lawrence Podschelne, James Podschelne, Thomas Podschelne, William Podschelne. Twenty-Two nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews and four great, great nieces and nephews. Joanne had so many incredible friends including Vivian, Jane, Anne-Marie, Denice and so many more. Joanne was predeceased by her Mother Helen & Father Lawrence and two brothers Stephen Podschelne and John Podschelne.

Joanne was passionate about being a hair stylist. She loved working as a stylist at Hair Magic in Port Orange with one of her best friends, Vivian.

Joanne spent her spare time volunteering, helping the elderly and volunteering at animal rescues.

Breast cancer may have taken her body, but it will never take her spirit.
