Joseph "Joe" Augustus Bennett, 36,  passed away unexpectedly October 15th, 2020 in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Joe was born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina on March 6th, 1984 to John and Lori Bennett. He grew up in North Carolina and spent the later part of his life in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Joe was a son, brother, father, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He will be remembered by his outgoing personality and his love of telling jokes.  His proudest accomplishments were being a father and for selflessly donating his kidney at 18 to his uncle Jim.

He always wanted to make people laugh.He enjoyed astronomy and watching the stars through telescopes.  His passion was working on vehicles to rebuild or salvage. He grew up attending car shows with family and helping his father build custom hot rods which helped shape his passion for cars.

He leaves behind his mother, Lori Bennett and step father Steven St. Thomas from zephyr hills , Florida. A beloved daughter Alexis Marion from Gastonia, North Carolina. Two sons, Dominic and Nicolas Broome from Orange City, Florida.  Sister Lauren Bennett from Daytona Beach, Florida. Sister Casey Galliford from Deltona, Florida.

He will be reuniting with his father, grandmother, grandfathers, uncle and family pet pup in heaven.

A private service is being held October 20th, 2020.
